Dear Parent/Caregiver,

Student Leaders 2023

On Tuesday morning Mr Wilson, Mr Somerville and myself interviewed some of our Year 5 students for next year’s school captain positions.

There were a lot of quality applicants and we have selected 12 students to progress to the next stage of presenting speeches to their peers in week 8.

AFL Champions!

On Friday 14th and Saturday 15th October our Qschools AFL girls competed in the State Final at Maroochydore. Our girls were successful in winning the State Title and therefore best Primary School team in the State. Congratulations to the team for this remarkable achievement. I would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Mr Hawthorne and Mrs Langford for all the hours they have put into training and getting the girls ready for the competition.

All Schools Touch

On Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th November our All Schools boys’ and girls’ teams competed in the All Schools Touch State Finals at Redlands. Both teams played extremely well making in through to the semi-finals, narrowly missing out on the win. This has been a great era of continued success for our touch program consistently competing at this very high standard. Thank to Mr MacArthur for his years of dedication and commitment to training our students and to Mr Watson and Mrs Groves for assisting over the two days.
