METRO NORTH ORAL HEALTH IS COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE ORAL HEALTH OF OUR CHILDREN
To do this we want to enhance the important role that parents/guardians and carers play in helping us provide the best oral health care that we can for their child.

Metro North Oral Health Services requires a parent/legal guardian or a nominated adult representative to attend dental appointments with all children under the age of 15 years (we strongly recommend that an adult attend appointments with all children regardless of their age).  A parent/ legal guardian must attend the examination appointment.  This is so that you can be involved in making decisions about your child’s oral health care and discuss any issues that may be of concern.  As such children will no longer be called over from class for dental treatment without an adult present.

Your involvement is important to us and to your child’s health.

Please remember to bring your child’s Medicare Card to every appointment.

If you have any queries regarding this service, or would like to discuss this please telephone oral health services (ph: 3646 7838) or email MNOHS_Directorate@health.qld.gov.au
