District Athletics

Outstanding Carnival

On Wednesday 2/8/17 and Thursday 3/8/17 we sent 39 of our top athletes to compete at Apex Park in the annual Caboolture District Athletics Carnival which had 24 schools competing.

Our students were fabulous. Every one of them put in a 100% effort and, coupled with large amounts of talent and some hard training, was able to achieve some amazing results.

We saw many children achieve personal bests across the entire range of track and field events and some standout performances were recognised.  Kylan Webster-Camilleri was awarded 11 year old Boys Age Champion,

As a result of the entire team’s collective efforts, Banksia Beach State School won the ‘A  Schools’ trophy for bigger schools.

All children and their very supportive parents should be congratulated.
