Canteen – Ordering FAQ’s
I ordered my frozen ice block but it wasn’t in my bag?
Please let your student know when they order a frozen item (frozen fruit or ice block) they are to bring their bag to the canteen at the play bell to receive their frozen treat – who wants a melted frozen treat on their pie/sandwich?

I came at second break to buy a cold drink and the canteen was closed?
Please let your student know they need to order a second break item.  Only at first break, the longer break, the canteen is open for purchases over the counter.

Munch Monitor Tips:
If ordering brain break on Munch Monitor, please ensure your order is placed in the brain break section and not in first break.

Students who will be at swimming during first or second break will not be able to order from the canteen on their swimming day.  Please check with your child or child’s teacher to avoid any disappointment.

Canteen Volunteers  – Come join our Fun, Friendly Team!
To ensure our Tuckshop runs smoothly and continues its award winning status, we ask for Volunteers from our school community.  All canteen profits go back into the school.  If you are able to help please email Sally canteen@banksiabeachss.eq.edu.au or drop by the Canteen

Volunteers and Co-ordinators wanted for P&C events!
Volunteers play an important role in the success of the P&C.  The support of Volunteers helps enable funding to flow via the P&C to the school to meet its priorities.

We invite the school community to express an interest in a Volunteer capacity.  Volunteers are needed to help out with upcoming fundraising events, in particular we are looking for a Volunteer/s to coordinate the Easter Raffle and Mother’s Day Stall and Raffle.  If you think this might be for you, the P&C would love to hear from you.  Please email to: pandc@banksiabeachss.eq.edu.au or leave your name and phone number at the front office or canteen.
Easter Raffle tickets on sale 20th March

P&C Meeting
The next P&C Meeting will be held the Annual General Meeting on Friday 31 March at 9.30am.  All are welcome to attend. If you would like to become a member or find out what the P&C is all about, come along to the next meeting.

At our most recent P&C Meeting we agreed to donate to the school:
$20,000 from our carry forward funds raised in 2016
Commit an additional $20,000 from 2017 fundraising efforts

The donations are being used to fund the Global Budget priorities of STEM and Air-Conditioning (replacement costs/repairs – some units are 7 years old now!)

Without your support this would not be possible, thank you.
