Early arrivals at school Please be advised that children should not be at school before 8.30am. Should the need arise to be at school before that time, children are requested to wait quietly outside the canteen where a bell sounds at 8.30am to allow students to move to their classroom area - students should not be at classrooms before this time. Parents are also reminded that children are not to play on Adventure playgrounds, sandpit or oval areas before school. Could you please reinforce this with your child. Education Queensland policy requires that as there is no staff supervision before school, use of these areas is prohibited. This is a legal requirement and applies regardless of whether other adults may be in the vicinity.
