Cars on the School Grounds
A reminder to parents the only cars permitted on the school grounds are staff cars and parents who have been issued with a school issued disabled permit. Our school provides a ‘Drop Off’ and ‘Pick Up’ area for students with disabilities only. Some Special Education parents have been issued with a school issued disabled permit to access this area. This area is situated inside the school grounds and has been designed as a ‘Drop Off’ and ‘Pick Up’ area only.
To ensure the safety of all students at the school, there needs to be clarification for the use of this area. The only parking allowed in this area will be by the taxis that collect students.
Permits issued are to be used for drop off and pick up only. If you choose to park and collect your child from their class you will have to use general school parking. Special Education parents who choose to stay at school ie., volunteering within a classroom etc. will need to park in the main carpark at the front of the school.
Parents (both main stream school and special education) are NOT permitted to park within the turncircle or the staff carpark.
Due to persistent problems, this area will be monitored throughout the term to ensure the safety of all people at the school.
