Dear Parents,
I extend a very warm welcome to all students, parents, staff and volunteer helpers on the commencement of the 2009 school year. Many thanks to cleaning, grounds staff, teacher aides and admin staff for helping to get our school off to a great start for the 2009 school year.
Children are beautifully dressed and well prepared for school. All children have settled well and we have welcomed over 160 new studentsthroughout our school. More names for me to quickly learn!
Uniforms
Thank you for ensuring all students are well dressed. Just a few reminders to ensure all students are correctly dressed.
· Formal uniform day is Tuesday for Years 4–7 and Wednesday for Prep–Year 3.
· Black shoes with black shoelaces are also required for every year level every day.
· Coloured leggings are not part of our uniform.
We are very proud of our image. Please see me if you are having difficulties providing our
uniform for your student.
Absences
We provide quality learning experiences for all students each day. To enable us to help your child to achieve the highest possible outcomeswe need to have your child at school every possible day. Absences should only be for illness. Together we can achieve fabulous outcomes.
Parent Information Evenings
Commencing Week 3 we will be holding Parent Information Evenings. These sessions are a wonderful time to learn about your child’s educational journey for 2009. It is also an opportunity to show your child how much you value his/her schooling. I look forward to speaking with you on the following nights and
