Banksia Beach State School has a large volunteer program providing support for students in Reading, Writing and Numeracy.
Parent Volunteers are also active in the Shared Learning Centre, canteen, assist with school banking, and fundraising through P & C activities.
Parents participate in classroom culminating activities at the end of units of work and in special “open” days / events like Bookweek, Under 8’s week, sporting events, weekly assemblies in the lower and senior school, Education Week, Parent Education programs (For example Boys & Literacy) etc.
