As well as our year 7 classes, we have added an Interactive Whiteboards (IWB) to two
of our year 1 classes to support students in the early years of their development.
Students at this age are extremely receptive to the use of this visual medium and the interaction it provides. In particular, the online learning objects and the wealth of visual resources that have come with the Smartboard software.
The IWB supports student learning via a number of interactive resources. These include:
- Text
- Audio
- Video
- Animation
- Multimedia
Students are able to view the IWB from all areas of the room and are physically involved in the learning process.
