E-mail Print PDF

Banksia Beach State School is recognised as a leader in Information Communication Technology. Our Year 7 program with interactive whiteboards, wireless technology, laptops and purposely built classrooms was an Education Queensland Regional Showcase Winner in 2008.

An extensive Information Communication Technology (ICT) program is offered to all students at Banksia Beach State School. Students from Prep to year 7 have access to information computer technologies including:
  • computers
  • printers
  • digital cameras
  • scanners
·         interactive whiteboards
In order to maintain a high standard of ICT within the school we require parents to contribute a $20 technology levy.  This levy is designed to cover ICT consumables such as printing, ongoing maintenance and support of equipment and the purchase of new ICT resources to support and enhance your student’s learning.

You will receive your invoice this week. Prompt payment would be appreciated. If you would like to pay in part payments please contact the school office.

We appreciate your support in the payment of this levy.

Newsflash

PATIENCE PLEASE

While construction work is being carried out at school, can we please ask parents to please use the paths when moving about the school. Due to safety concerns and to help with keeping our grounds and gardens looking beautiful, please avoid taking shortcuts over chain and Kopper log fences. Many thanks for your understanding.
