Dear Parents, 
What an exciting week we have had!
Our new hall was handed over last Friday and we had our first assembly on Tuesday. I was so pleased to see the genuine excitement and pleasure the children took in owning such an amazing hall. To see the children dance up the red carpet and tell me how special they felt. As I always say everything we do at our school has to be for the benefit of our children - all interactions must always have the question, “Is this the best I can do for the students at Banksia?” I believe we must all agree this is the best we could do for the students of Banksia Beach State School. It has been a very busy period and a large work load for many. A very special thank you to Mrs Jennifer Rolfe our Business Service Manager who oversaw the project from start to finish, even to the extent of laying the different coloured squares. We will have many special occasions in our beautiful hall.
